Our Staff
Paul Heintz - Owner
Paul is the store owner, or Mr Mojo, to many of his running friends. Paul ran his first marathon, the NYC marathon, in 1984 and has continued to run every distance between the 5K and marathon, including 200-mile relay events ever since. A veteran of 14 marathons, including several Boston efforts, Paul continues to have a passion for both road and trail running. In addition to running Paul is also a duathlete and triathlete and looks forward to racing again this summer after focusing mainly on running for the last several years. Paul’s favorite sport is rugby but he is semi-retired and prefers to strap on the running shoes rather than the rugby boots these days and can be found most days working at the store dispensing thoughts and suggestions to interested runners and walkers.
Becki Ordway - Manager
I started working in running stores in 2005, and love doing it! I have been running competitively since I was 11 years old. I ran for Marlington High School in Alliance Ohio, and The Universtity of Akron. I am currently running for the Second Sole team which is sponsored by Nike. I competed in the 2008 USA Olympic trials marathon and have qualified to race in the 2012 Olympic trials marathon as well. I love racing any distance from the mile through the marathon, but my passion is for the marathon/half marathon distances. I look forward to working with runners at all levels, because I love to hear their stories, and watch them achieve their goals!
Ricky Lupp
My name is Ricky Lupp. I have been working at Mojo since June 2009. I started running my freshman year at LaSalle High School. The growth and success that I experienced while at LaSalle really sparked my love for distance running. While at LaSalle we won 2 State Championships in Cross Country (’05 and ’06) and I finished 11th in the mile in Track (’07). From there I accepted a scholarship from The University of Cincinnati. I now primarily run the 5k and the 10k and love all 25 laps around the track! I would love to become a head track coach one day because I enjoy spreading my knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport with others. I hope to have the chance to work with as many people as possible here at Mojo Running!
Patrick Bayer
My name is Patrick Bayer and I have been enjoying running since 8th grade. I started out running track and thought I was going to be a sprinter. My lack of fast twitch muscles quickly changed this plan. As I started running distances, I fell in love with the sport and continued running in high school at Summit Country Day. I had a successful career and was an all conference runner 3 times. More importantly, our team became more successful each year as our program grew throughout my four years. After high school, I chose to attend Xavier University and run recreationally. At this time, I accepted the assistant coaching position at Summit. This allowed me to help the program grow even farther. While coaching, we have had state qualifiers and our teams routinely make it to Regionals and win conference. I started working at Mojo in May of 2009 and it is definitely the most fun job in the world. Every day I work, I get to share my passion for running with everyone who walks in the door.
Mark Bierkan
Graduated from CHS in 2003 Ran CC and Track while I was there. I was a part of the best boys CC team since 1978 where we finished 5th in the region (6 pts from state) In Track I finished 10th in the state in the 800 in a school record time of 1:56.15. I graduated from Ohio Northern University in 2007. Ran CC and Track (indoor and outdoor) while I was there. Broke 4 school records in track and was a 3 time nation qualifier ( 2 times in track and 1 in cross) Currently teach at Colerain High School (Higher level math – precalculus, calculus, and AP Statistics) Just finished my first year as CHS head cc coach. Both the girls and boys teams qualified for regionals for the first time since fall 2002. I am going into my first year as the Co-head track coach at CHS. I ran the flying pig half marathon in the spring of 2008 (they sent me the wrong way at mile marker 11). Currently run for Mojo Running Co.
Tyler Heintz
Tyler is a 3-sport athlete (football, bowling, tennis) at Colerain High School and will be headed to Miami University in the fall to pursue a degree in science education. While somewhat of a runner himself, Tyler thinks his parents, the Mojo’s, are crazy when it comes to mileage. He prefers his fast and short to their long and slow but he enjoys working at the store and helping customers as often as possible.
Robin Delnoce
My name is Robin Delnoce. I have been running since 2005. Running a marathon was always on my "bucket list." I agreed to run one leg of the Flying Pig Marathon in January of 2005 thinking that would be the closest I ever got. That one leg (6.9 miles) turned into the half marathon the following year, then the marathon the year after that. In the process I lost about 60 lbs. and was able to increase my speed. I qualified for the 2009 Boston Marathon at the 2008 Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon. I have since qualified for the 2010 and 2011 Boston Marathons. Through running, I have experienced; the inside track at Churchill Downs, the Indianapolis Speedway, the streets and neighborhoods of Dublin, Ireland, along Lake Michigan, the shoreline of both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the Las Vegas Strip, the Alamo, the famous fog of San Francisco, and the impressive fly-overs of the US Air Force. Running has provided me with some of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love living life in forward motion!
Liz Coorey
My name is Liz and I have been a runner for as long as I can remember. I joined my first track team when I was in the second grade, loved it, and never looked back. Since then, I’ve gotten a little more serious about the sport and I have been blessed with many opportunities to improve and find success. In high school I ran for Saint Ursula Academy where I was a member of the 2007 cross country state champion team and also earned a fourth place finish in the mile at the 2007 track state championships. After graduating in ’07, I went on to run for the University of Dayton, where I have recently been a part of two Atlantic 10 championship teams (in cross country and indoor track). I grow in my love for running every time I lace up my shoes and step out the door, which is something I plan to do for as long as my body will let me. Working at Mojo is an exciting opportunity for me to gain knowledge about running and meet people who share in my passion for this crazy, unforgiving sport!
Mandy MacDonald
I have been running since 2003. I attended Colerain High school where I played soccer and ran cross country and track. I was First Team all GMC as a freshman in the 400 and 800 meter relays, and a regional finalist. Due to an ACL injury I suffered in soccer, I decided to give cross country a try in 2007. I am currently a freshman at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Neuroscience. I am running recreationally and competing in local 5K and 10k races. I would like to begin running half marathons and some day take on a full. I would also love to be a track coach at a local high school, where I could share my love for running with competitive high school athletes. Until then, I am eager to share my passion for running with everyone who comes through Mojo!
